personal projects, curiosity on no schedule

I build things because I like understanding how they work.

I’m Adolfo J. Cardozo S. This is my open notebook: the place where I keep the projects I make outside of work, just for the joy of it. Software, electronics, music, sport and, above all, learning something new and then teaching it well.

The years have given me patience; the curiosity is still intact.

What keeps me busy

Things I do for the joy of it, no schedule, no client. Each colour is a section of the notebook.

Projects

What I have built or am building.

An inventory ledger for a family business. It replaces a spreadsheet with a log of entries and exits, calculated balances and low-stock alerts.

  • FastAPI
  • Jinja2
  • PostgreSQL
  • SQLAlchemy
  • Alembic
  • uv

Physical activity coaching app

An app to guide health routines such as walking, jogging, tai chi or exercising at home. For now, I'm working on the concept.

Mind-driven robots

Small spherical robots that run a course, controlled with a headband that reads brain signals. A project born of pure curiosity.

Back to electronics

Over thirty years after my course in digital electronics and microprocessors, I want to sign up for a robotics and electronics course.
