Over thirty years after my course in digital electronics and microprocessors, I want to sign up for a robotics and electronics course.
Where I come from
Around 1989 or 1990 I took a course in digital electronics and control microprocessors. Electronics was a different world back then. I’ve loved electronics since I was young, and that foundation is still there.
Why now
The mind-driven robots sparked my curiosity again. Today there are cheap microcontrollers, every kind of sensor and a huge community sharing what it learns. It’s a good time to come back.
The plan
- Pick a robotics and electronics course and enrol.
- Record what I learn here in the log, comparing then and now.
- Put it to use in the robots project.
